If you left for a distant destination, what would you want with you?
By the end of the 1800s, many of the people who boarded a ship were planning a new life in the Americas and bringing with them the most expensive things.
Each participant realizes his “cardboard” suitcase and fills it with memories, useful things, objects of affection. After the workshop we visit the exhibition path “MEM – Memory and Migration” we pass customs controls, we discover the dormitories, the refectory and how life was during the days of navigation in the transatlantic City of Turin, as if we were emigrants in the early 1900s.
