6th Genoa Biennale – International Contemporary Art Exhibition

From June 14 to 28, 2025, Genoa returns to the forefront of contemporary art with the 6th Genoa Biennale – International Contemporary Art Exhibition. Promoted by SATURA and under the patronage of the Liguria Region, the Municipality and Metropolitan City of Genoa, the Chamber of Commerce, and Genoa’s Ambassadors Worldwide, this major cultural event is curated by Mario Napoli and Flavia Motolese.

Spanning the entire city, the Biennale unfolds across 83 venues—museums, historic palaces, galleries, and private spaces—showcasing works by over 200 artists from 22 countries. It offers a rich, cross-sectional view of the international art scene.

Galata Museo del Mare joins the circuit with a special selection of works inspired by the sea—not only as a natural element but also as a symbol of journey, transformation, and cultural exchange.

The Genoa Biennale provides a vital platform for dialogue between established and emerging artists, thus celebrating art as a universal language that fosters reflection and participation.
