New Openinng Galata bookshop

L’Aria del Mare and Buonvento Pottery we have created unique and valuable works themed sea, with The Genoeser we put on stage the illustrations of every corner of Genoa, with The bookshop of the Galata Museo del Mare was created to allow our visitors to take with them a memory; a unique object that looking at it after time arouses an emotion linked to the experience of visiting.
The entire publishing industry explores the world of sea and navigation in all its overwhelming nuances and is designed for young and old.
There are volumes dedicated to the city of Genoa, its landscapes, its wonders and its history. Art, history and the sea pass through the words described in the carefully selected books.
The artisan products are the result of a collaboration with artists, illustrators, potters and jewelers of the city of Genoa, to carry on the typically Genoese artistic taste.
With the illustrator Fato Male we have created the stickers with the main elements of Galata through his unmistakable style, with the local potters Federica Gandus Bijoux we have created a line of jewelry themed Nazario Sauro and with Sort of Looser we have created a sea set with an eye-catching graphic 100% made in Italy.
All realities related to the sea, where everyone tells it through their own point of view.
To preserve a memory linked to a room or a particular object of the Museum, visitors can take home a postcard with the main rooms, a whole line of merchandising with technical drawings of the Nazario Sauro to explore its hidden sides, integrate objects in everyday life such as cups, pencils, pens and notebooks and have fun completing a puzzle.
Not just a bookshop, but a real factory of emotions.
