Io sono benvenuto

On the occasion of World Refugee Day, on Friday, June 20, 2025, Galata Museo del Mare will host “Io sono benvenuto” for the first time in Genoa. This event, originally launched at the Museo Egizio, Torino will take place simultaneously in both cities this year.
A rich program of activities will bring both museum spaces to life with musical performances and moments of shared experience, creating a unique multicultural atmosphere.
In exchange for free admission, each visitor will be invited to write or draw a welcome message to place on the Welcome Wall—a large installation at the entrance, symbolizing openness and inclusion.
