Opens Tuesday, September 10th at 17.30 the exhibition of Oliviero Pluviano “Nonni do Brasil (stories of Italian emigrants)”, organized by the Galata Maritime Museum in collaboration with the Mu.MA Institution of museums of the sea and migrations, Financed and promoted by the Fondazione Museo Nazionale dell’Emigrazione Italiana MEI – Museo Nazionale dell’Emigrazione Italiana.
For 2024, anniversary of the 150th anniversary of the Italian emigration in Brazil, there was an exhibition called Nonni do Brasil (stories by Italian emigrants) that tells the Italians who were the main emigrants arrived from 1874 on the wine hills of Rio Grande do Sul, In the forests of the Amazon, passing through San Paolo which, with its seven million natives, is the largest Italian city in the world.
“Nonni do Brasil” will be open until 18 October with the entrance ticket to the Museum.
