New Routes

Type: Exhibition

Date: From 29 November 2025 to 8 January 2026

Galata Museo del Mare presents “Nuove Rotte” (New Routes), an exhibition that invites visitors to meditate on the journey as a universal experience: a journey across the sea, through life, and within oneself.

On display are works by Roberto Carullo and Andrea Genovese, two distinct artistic languages brought together by a shared theme: resilience.

Two visions in dialogue

Roberto Carullo showcases his superheroes and iconic figures, symbols of strength, courage, and the ability to respond to challenges. His works become a metaphor for the everyday struggle of those who face difficult moments, transforming vulnerability into vital energy.

Andrea Genovese tells the story of the sea through his resin-coated paper sails, at once light and powerful. His boats, carried by the wind, evoke the navigation of change, the capacity to find direction even in the uncertain waters of existence.

In Nuove Rotte, the sea becomes a place of welcome, movement, and renewal.
The images of Carullo and Genovese intertwine, reminding us that we are all on a journey: some weathering a storm, some seeking a safe harbour, others setting off again with a new wind.
