The construction of the ramps leading to the Mirador is dedicated to the Turboship «Andrea Doria», its construction, its history, the collision of 26 July 1956 with the Swedish icebreaker «Stockholm» and the judicial dispute that followed in terms of responsibilities.
New are the replica of the bow in 1:5 scale, a large model of the ship built in 1952 and restored for the occasion, a kinematic reconstruction of the phases of the collision. In addition, visitors are invited to get an idea of the dramatic hours on board prior to the sinking, going up on a sector of the walk bridge inclined to 30# .
In the exhibition are remembered all the names of the victims, as well as of the crew members to whom the Italian State recognized a commendation: most of them never received it in life, because of the oblude that was laid on the story in the months following the tragedy.
